'Business Talent' will support the development of a world class management system for FE by encouraging experienced private and public sector managers to make the transition into senior management roles within FE.

The programme will provide FE with a management recruitment programme which offers practical support to employers in attracting these individuals and helps them lead lasting improvements across the sector.

As part of the programme, LLUK will introduce, manage and evaluate:

• a 'toolkit' for employers in FE who are looking to recruit business talent into senior management posts
• guidance and support for employers, helping them to select the best applicants and to ensure their skills match the organisation's needs
• management training built around an effective and inspiring system of induction, support and continuing professional development (CPD) relevant to the skills required by FE employers
• management qualifications which are sector-specific.
