'Make a Difference' will support the development of a world-class management system for FE by recruiting motivated graduates (or equivalent) and supporting 'high-fliers' already in the sector, equipping them with the knowledge, skills and understanding to become future leaders.

The programme will provide education, training and skills providers with a graduate scheme which matches the best candidates to the most appropriate employers, and gives trainees the ongoing support and development opportunities they need to really 'make a difference'.

As part of this initiative, LLUK will introduce, manage and evaluate:

• high profile recruitment campaigns targeting graduates and highlighting the benefits and opportunities for building a career in FE
• guidance and support for employers, helping them to select, train and hold on to the best graduates
• individually tailored leadership development programmes, which include comprehensive induction, support and continuing professional development (CPD) relevant to the skills required by FE training and skills providers
